Danny Peters

Dr. Danny Peters is a skilled and dedicated plastic surgeon with clinical interests concentrated in pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery, craniosynostosis, craniofacial syndromes, reconstruction of traumatic and oncologic problems of the face and aesthetic facial surgery.

Dr. Peters received his medical doctorate from Queen’s University, Kingston Ontario in 2002. His residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery was completed at the University of British Columbia in 2007. His fellowship training includes pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto (2008) and adult craniomaxillofacial surgery at Sunnybrook Hospital and Health Sciences Center, University of Toronto (2009). In 2010 he completed his MBA at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

His academic appointments include Associate Professor and in the Department of Surgery at the University of Ottawa, and Staff Surgeon at the Ottawa Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (2009-present). Dr. Peters serves as Membership Director on the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons Board, the Associate Editor for Plastic Surgery, The Journal, the Chair of the Ross Tilley Foundation and a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Plastic Surgery Exam Committee.  Within TOH, he is involved in several committees including the Surgical Exec Committee, Corporate Perioperative Committee, Department Teaching and Promotions Committee and he chairs the Competence Committee for Plastic Surgery.
