Dr. Gloria Rockwell received her medical doctorate from Dalhousie University in 1997. Her residency training in plastic surgery was completed at McMaster University in 2002. She pursued clinical fellowship in breast reconstruction and melanoma at the University of Toronto (2002), Hand, Peripheral Nerve and Reconstructive Microsurgery at McMaster University (2003) and American Board Certification and Recertification in Plastic Surgery (2004 & 2014). Masters of Science, Health Research and Microsurgery (2007). Dr. Rockwell was appointed Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa, Division of Plastic Surgery in 2004. She was appointed the Director of Research from 2004 to 2015. In 2015 Dr. Rockwell was appointed Director of Patient Safety and Quality Outcomes in the Division of Plastic Surgery, University of Ottawa.
